It’s difficult not to have suhoor in Ramadan without eating one of the most traditional Egyptian dishes: Fool. However, eating fool every night can get a bit boring and that’s why Rahet Bally’s very own chef, Asmara Darwish, has put together three different fool recipes to help keep your taste buds and your family members happy.

Fool with salsa (tomato sauce):
- Vegetable oil
- Spring onions
- Green bell peppers
- A dash of salt
- Sliced tomato cubes
- Cumin

- Fava beans

Fool with yoghurt:
- Yoghurt
- Tehina
- Lemon juice
- Garlic, minced and diced

Fool with sogo’ and eggs
- Red onion
- Spring onion
- Diced, minced garlic
