Baked strawberry pie
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup Afia corn oil
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar + 1/2 cup sugar for strawberry sauce
- 3 tablespoons cooking cream
- 1 pack vanilla extract
- 4 cups strawberries cut into quarters
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 cup of water
Directions:
- In a pot over medium heat, mix the cornstarch with water, then add the lemon juice and strawberries.
- After reaching a boil, reduce the heat and leave to cook for half an hour.
- In a large bowl, mix the sugar, flour, Afia oil, cooking cream, and vanilla. Knead together until it becomes a dough batter.
- Roll out the dough to become thin and even, then cut into whatever shape you like.
- Preheat the oven to 220 degrees. Using a baking dish, add the dough and strawberry sauce together and cook for 20 mins.
Caramel popcorn

Ingredients:
- 1 cup Afia sunflower oil
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 cups corn kernels
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 95 degrees
- Add the corn and Afia oil to a big bowl and cover
- Place into the oven until the corn kennels all pop
Caramel sauce:
- Place the brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt together in a bowl and mix together over medium heat until it starts to boil.
- Leave to boil without stirring for 4 minutes.
- Remove from heat and add baking soda and vanilla and stir.
- In a large bowl, add the popcorn and caramel sauce and mix well.
Cinnamon Fritters

Ingredients:
- Afia sunflower oil
- 1 Tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
Directions:
- Add Afia sunflower oil to the deep fryer and preheat to 170 degrees.
- Add two teaspoons of cinnamon to two tablespoons of sugar in a small bowl.
- Combine flour, baking powder, and the rest of the cinnamon and sugar in a mixing bowl together with the salt.
- Whisk the milk and eggs together in a separate bowl and add to the above bowl.
- Add the milk to make the batter thicker and refrigerate for an hour.
- Using a tablespoon, scoop the batter and insert it into the hot oil, frying 5 to 6 at a time.
- Stir occasionally to get the same even golden brown consistency for 2-3 minutes.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and enjoy.
Lemon yogurt cake
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup Afia corn oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 pack vanilla
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
Directions:
- Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees.
- Add eggs, lemon zest, sugar and vanilla extract to the yogurt and whisk well.
- Add the dry ingredients to the yogurt mix gradually while continuously stirring.
- Add Afia corn oil and whisk for another minute and then pour batter into a baking dish powdered with oil and flour.
- Place in the oven for 50 mins and set aside to cool down for 10 mins.
- In a small pot, mix 1/3 cup of sugar with the lemon juice over a medium heat and stir until it reaches a boil.
- Pour the lemon and sugar sauce over the cake and leave to cool for an hour.
- In a small bowl, mix the icing sugar with milk to serve next to the cake slices.
Fried Oreos

Ingredients:
- 2 teaspoons Afia sunflower oil + more for frying
- 18 Oreo cookies
- 1 1/2 cups pancake mix
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
- Combine pancake mix, egg, milk, Afia sunflower oil, and vanilla extract in a bowl and mix well until smooth.
- In a pan, preheat Afia sunflower oil over medium-high heat.
- Dip the Oreos into the batter and place it into heat.
- Fry for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
