Pasta salads are a great lazy day meal when you’re too tired to cook or just looking for something different to eat. With spring offering nutritious and exciting ingredients, you can make some pretty cool pasta salad recipes using Italiano’s pasta.

Here are 5 pasta salad recipes that are perfect for spring:
Strawberry balsamic pasta salad

Ingredients:
- 2 cups sliced strawberries
- 2 cups chopped spinach leaves
- 1 cup cooked Italiano fusilli pasta
- 1 cup diced chicken
- ¼ cup toasted walnuts
- 1/2 cup crumbled Feta cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Strawberry balsamic vinaigrette:
- 1 cup sliced strawberries
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon honey or more to taste
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Blend all vinaigrette ingredients together in a food processor until dressing is smooth and refrigerate.
- Add Italiano pasta along with all the other ingredients in a large bowl.
- Drizzle the vinaigrette and mix well.
Crab pasta salad with pomegranate dressing
Ingredients:
- 2 cups crab meat
- 1/2 cup chopped pistachios
- Pinch of red chili pepper
- 1/2 cup of pomegranate
- 1/2 cup pea shoots
- 3/4 shredded carrots
- 1/2 cup chopped chives – ¼ cup chopped to confetti

Avocado cilantro pasta salad
Ingredients:
- Italiano’s fusilli pasta
- 1 bag frozen corn
- 1 can black beans
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives
- 1/3 cup chopped red onion
- 1/3 cup sliced red pepper
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes
Dressing ingredients:
- 2 large avocados
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/2 cup cilantro leaves
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 2 chopped green onions
- 1 jalapeno
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste

Pesto pasta salad

Ingredients:
- 450 g of Italiano’s fusilli pasta
- 3/4 cup pesto
- 2 cups of cherry tomatoes sliced in half
- 2 cups of mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add Italiano’s pasta.

Drain the pasta then add to a large serving bowl.

Add the pesto and stir until the pasta is well coated.

Add the tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and basil

Season with salt and pepper to taste
Tuna pasta salad

Ingredients:
- 2 cups Italiano’s penne pasta
- 2-3 chopped celery
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 2 drained cans of tuna
Dressing ingredients:
- 1 very ripe avocado
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
- 1/2 squeezed lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1-2 minced garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes
- Salt and pepper
Instructions:
- Mix all the dressing ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth.
- Cook Italiano’s pasta, rinse with cold water and leave to drain.
- Add the pasta as well as the other ingredients together in a large serving bowl.
- Pour the dressing into the bowl and mix well.
