Skipping breakfast

Skipping breakfasts makes you hungrier during the day and can be the reason that you cannot control the hunger cravings you get during the day as well as increase your calorie intake. A study has shown that eating a full breakfast with lean protein and healthy food will reduce your cravings, curb your appetite, and help reduce your calorie intake during the day.

Getting ready in the dark sounds like a pretty normal thing to do, especially if you get up before your partner. However, if you avoid the sunlight, you could find yourself gaining weight as it highly affects your BMI. In order to lose weight, you need to expose yourself to the sunlight in the morning for at least 20-30 minutes to improve your metabolism.

Drinking water on an empty stomach when you wake up is one of the morning habits you should definitely add to your daily routine. That’s because it helps maintain accurate body temperature and balance the nutrients in the body. It also fills up the stomach and reduces the risks of overeating at breakfast. That’s why if you do not drink enough water, you put yourself at risk of weight gain.
