Being too self-conscious about your teeth is a horrible feeling, especially if it prevents you from actually smiling. If you tend to frown in people’s faces and always try to hide your teeth when you smile, then it’s time to consider one of the best medical solutions available: Veneers.
We spoke to the founder of Perfect Dental Smile, Dr. Shady Samir, to share his experience about dental veneers and explain where cosmetic dental solutions can come in handy:

If you have crooked, spaced, or multi-colored teeth that prevent you from being able to confidently smile, then dental veneers are highly recommended. You can adjust the color to be similar across your mouth by using an appropriate shade of dental porcelain veneers.

Yes, if a person suffers from severe gum infections, has loose or protruding teeth, the veneers will fall off or excessively protrude and look unnatural.
What are the most common causes that lead to veneer failure?
- The dentist’s experience is a major success determination factor. In many cases, a crown is more recommended than veneers. For example, if the tooth is overly prepared and a major part of the outer surface is removed, the veneer will eventually fall off.
- If the dentist opts for low-quality cement, the procedure will eventually fail.
- Mistreatment of the veneer as when the patient applies too much pressure on the veneer while trying to open up a bottle cap.
