While coronavirus has hit many people, industries, and fields hard, some have taken it as an opportunity to raise awareness and give back to the community.
Egyptian Fashion house Asory collaborated with Ideas factories and Dannya Arafa to present a unique and distinguished line of foulards and scarves created by designers with Down syndrome.
In an attempt to raise awareness on Down syndrome and give those designing them a sense of achievement and satisfaction, Asory and Ideas factories aim to support daily labors staying home.
This line was created with the intention of giving back to the community and the daily labors who have been staying home as a result of coronavirus’ precautionary measures. A percentage of the sales will be directed to those labors as well as the amazing designers with Down syndrome.
The designers worked on a unique line, made with love, and focuses on their perspective of the quarantine and coronavirus.
It is a breath of fresh air to see the fashion industry go out of its way to raise awareness about such an important topic and give these designers the chance to stand out, feel important, and get the opportunity to see their designs come to life. These videos show just how creative and refreshing the designs are and it is a great initiative to support.
In a matter of days, these designs will be available for sale and we’ll all be able to see the amazing and unique designs come to life.
