I’ve always found children’s books fascinating; from the intriguing plot to the parallel universes or detailed and creative characters that most books contain, it feels like a child’s brain is being stretched and filled with a world of imagination.
When a book or story is gripping, there’s no better feeling than getting lost in its intricate details and putting everything aside until you find out what happens next. Being hooked to the story is such a wonderful feeling that you can now have your children experience.
Since most parts of the world are going on lockdown and many children are staying home as schools are suspended in an attempt to limit the spread of Coronavirus, Audible has made hundreds of its audio books accessible for free for kids all over the world. This is a great way to entertain your children while they’re staying home and spark their imagination while growing their love for books.
The books are available in six categories:
- Little Listeners
- Literary Classics
- Folk & Fairy Tales for All
The best thing is, you don’t even have to be a child to enjoy some of these books as even classics such as Jane Eyre and Alice’s Adventure in Wonderland are available. This will be a great chance for you to share your favorite books with your children and ignite their imagination making them fall in love with stories. All you have to do is download the Audible app and you’ll have hundreds of books to choose from.
If that’s not enough entertainment, Amazon Prime has also made a wide selection of children’s cartoons, TV shows, and movies also accessible for free for Amazon members in an attempt to try and entertain children during the coronavirus quarantine.
These cartoons, shows, and movies were only available for Amazon Prime members, but now can be viewed by any member as long as they have an account. You’ll be able to stream things like Peppa Pig and many other kids’ favorites that will help you and the kids survive the lockdown.
