There are so many things you can do that can be fun exercises for kids without them knowing it. Kids love to play and so anything in the form of a game can be a great kids workout and physical activity for kids. Here are a few ways to get your children to actually enjoy working out:
Hopscotch

One of the best things about hopscotch is that it can be played absolutely anywhere. It’s a great kids’ workout and a fun exercise for kids to do without even realizing they’re doing physical activity.
Jumping Jacks

A great family workout has to include jumping jacks. Children love to jump up and down, so why not make it part of your kid’s exercise? Stand up straight with your arms and feet together and jump apart with hands in the air. You can make it more exciting for your children but seeing who will be able to do the most.
Animal walks

Impersonating animals is always a lot of fun. So why not make it to your advantage and use it as a form of fitness activity for kids. You can make it a fun workout by shouting the animal’s name and having the children race towards the finish line in that position. This can also be a great fitness game for primary school.
Ball games

Having a ball makes everything so much more entertaining. There are so many ball games that will get your children up and running while having a blast. From normal football and catch to guiding a ball through a maze, trying to avoid the ball from touching you, and many other games.
Rope games

As a child, we played so many games at school using a rope. From tug of war to jumping and nursery rhymes, they’re a perfect playground or outdoor activity for kids that can be played individually or in a group.
Dancing

Put some music on and you’ve got some super fun activities for kids to do. You can play musical chairs, teach your kids a certain dance routine, or even have each family member dance to the groove in a dance battle.
Ride a bike

When the weather is good, an excellent outdoor activity and family workout can involve riding bikes. Take your bikes out to a safe area with no cars where your kids will enjoy racing and cycling together.

Obstacle course

Using tables, chairs, pillows, and scotch tape, you can design an obstacle course at home and create a fun exercise for kids at home. From jumping over pillows, crawling under tables, and hopping in place on an empty square, it will be a great workout for kids at home.
Indoor skating

Using paper plates or cloths, you can create skates as an indoor physical activity for kids. Have your kids place each foot on a paper plate and let them skate/slide across the floor.
