Slime is every kid’s obsession and every mama’s nightmare because of the mess it causes. Slime always leaves stains everywhere and if not treated properly, it will totally ruin the fabric or surface. No need to ban slime from the house and make your child upset. Here are some brilliant hacks to get slime out of clothes, carpets, and walls. You just need some ingredients from your kitchen and items available in any house.
Clothes

For wet slime:
- Pour enough white vinegar onto the slime stain and allow it to dry for five minutes maximum.
- Scrub the stains in a circular motion using an old toothbrush.
- Rinse the clothes in hot water, then wash normally.
For dried slime:
- Soak the clothes in white vinegar for five minutes. Immediately rinse off any slime particles with warm water. Then wash normally.
- Or dab the slime stain with acetone, then wash the clothes normally.
Carpets

For wet slime:
- Quickly remove as much slime as you can with your fingers.
- Use a spoon to gently scrape away the embedded slime onto a paper towel.
- Mix 2/3 cup of vinegar with 1/3 cup of water, then spray the slime particles with it.
- Scrub any remaining slime with a soft brush.
- Blot with a white cloth to remove excess liquid. You might need to repeat this step, then vacuum the rest.
- If there are any color stains, rub them with alcohol.
For dried slime:
- Leave an ice cube on the stain for 10 minutes. Once the slime freezes, gently scrape it away with a spoon.
- Vacuum the slime particles, then rub the stain with alcohol.
Walls

For wet slime:
- Make a paste of baking soda and a small amount of vinegar. Then dab it on the stain.
- Once dry, brush it off with a paper towel.
- Don’t forget to put a piece of cloth or paper towel on the floor under the wall to protect it.
For dried slime:
- Mix water and mild detergent in a bowl.
- Add mix onto a cloth and wash the slime off the wall.
