If you can’t stop eating because the weather is cold, then at least focus on reducing your portions. Water tends to help fill you up as well as boost your metabolism and reduce water retention. But it’s really difficult to hydrate properly when you’re cold all the time. One tip that can help you increase your water intake is drinking water at room temperature instead of cold water. It will help you drink more, keep your body hydrated, and help you lose weight during winter.

What’s the first thing we do when we’re cold? We layer up, stay indoors, or open the heater. If you’re looking to lose weight, you can use the cold weather to your advantage and let your body work towards keeping you warm by burning off excess fats. The next time you’re cold, take comfort in knowing that your body will get to work burning calories and fats to keep you warm.
