How many times have you looked for a kitchen utensil while cooking and failed to find it? How much time do you spend trying to find boxes with matching lids? While staying home during the lockdown, we can organize the many areas of the house that we never had time for.
Here are some clever ideas to reorganize your kitchen and make use of hidden spaces.
Divide the cabinets

Instead of having a large undivided cabinet, you can use wooden shelves to divide cabinets. This will make storage and finding items easier.
Add shelves on any empty wall space

Use an empty wall space in your kitchen to add a shelf where you can place things that are taking space in drawers and cabinets. The best option is to add hangers underneath shelves for more storage options.
Add diagonal separators in small drawers

Instead of ordinary separators, diagonal ones will give you more space especially if your kitchen drawers are too small.
Add bars inside cabinets

It’s a good idea for the cabinet where you keep detergents and cleaning tools and will save much of the space.
Add hooks in any available space

You can add hooks on walls, inside cabinets, or under shelves.
Store items above the cabinets

We all have unused space above kitchen cabinets. It’s a good way to store items that we don’t use daily and to avoid a mess inside drawers or cabinets. You can buy some nice storage boxes to keep the kitchen looking good.
Use the back of the cabinets’ shelves

Add a rack and smartly store cutting boards, trays, or lids. You can also add additional shelves where you can store spices containers.
Put the dish drainer in the sink

Use one of the sides of the sink as a dish drainer. Although it will consume some of the sink’s space, it is a good option for small kitchens.
Add vertical separators inside cabinets

This will give you enough storage space to organize pans, baking trays, and cutting boards.
