By your 10th week, you probably know for certain that you’re pregnant as you’ve missed 2 periods. The changes in the first trimester might not be that evident, but every week, there are changes in your body, in your baby’s development and growth, and in your symptoms. Here’s what to expect at 10-weeks pregnant:

- Exhaustion

While your uterus is currently around the size of a large orange, your baby is only the size of an apricot. Your belly size will probably still not show, but you could find yourself struggling to fit into your jeans.
During this time, it’s normal to feel bloated and find yourself farting or burping a lot and that is due to the female hormone progesterone. Because it is preparing your womb to expand and grow your baby, the muscles are becoming looser and cause a number of symptoms.
At 10-weeks of pregnancy, you’ll be able to see your baby move around on a scan, but won’t be able to feel it yet. Expect your baby’s head to still be a lot bigger than the body, but the baby’s face is starting to show features as the ears start to form, the mouth has an upper lip, and the nose has two nostrils.
