At 13 weeks pregnant, your baby is around 7.4 cm and almost the size of a peach. During this stage, your baby weighs around 25 g.
At 13 weeks pregnant, your baby’s sex organs are fully developed and will allow you to identify your baby’s gender. Isn’t that exciting? Other changes that occur to your baby during this week are that the ankles and wrists are formed, and the eyes are moving into their position. Because your baby’s intestines are in the right position, during this week, your baby can swallow amniotic fluid and allow its tiny body to absorb it. During your 13th week, your ultrasound will also be able to confirm whether you’re having twins.
